TV advertising: SNPTV presents new opening schedule

In a press release, the SNPTV revealed the creation of a new period in the schedule for the opening of the schedule. The third period, which runs from May to August 21, is split into two to give advertisers more flexibility in managing their campaigns in the face of the Covid 19 crisis.

“”Given this uncertain period, which offers advertisers and agencies little visibility, the National Syndicate of TV Advertising member agencies have decided to split Period 3 in two to give advertisers a second booking option“explains Isabelle Vignon, General Delegate of SNPTV.

Period 3 was thus divided into two parts from May to August 21:

  • Friday, March 27, 2020: Opening of the schedules for the period from May 1 to July 5, 2020, return on Friday, April 10, 2020.
  • Friday, May 15, 2020: Opening of the schedules for the period from July 6 to August 21, 2020, return on Friday, May 29, 2020.

Reminder: According to the terms and conditions 2020 published on October 15, 2019, the schedule openings for this period should initially begin on Friday, March 13, 2020 and the schedule openings should end on Monday, March 30. While Isabelle Vignon recalled that conditions for canceling and postponing campaigns could be seen directly from the sales offices, which was the case on a case-by-case basis, Isabelle Vignon called for greater flexibility on the part of the latter.
